Biography
Working largely in oils, as a widely collected fine artist with over 45 years professional experience, Victoria offers a unique creative world of exhibitions, workshops and retreats, along with private and commercial commissions.
At the age of thirteen Victoria was awarded a scholarship to study in Dieppe, Rouen, and Paris. She considers this fabulous opportunity to be the foundation of her formal art education and the beginning of her professional career.
Since then, Victoria has accumulated an expansive portfolio of commercial and fine art, along with offering creative study opportunities to people of all ages and abilities, nurturing the creative potential of others through teaching, seminars, and painting retreats.
Victoria's wide and varied creative ventures bring inspiration to the mundane flow of life, igniting a creative spark and making fresh ideas a reality.
The main body of Victoria's studio production translates into Projects and Commissions. These range from simple commissions for private clients to extensive commercial projects. Victoria accepts private commissions in all subjects, her favourite medium being oil on linen canvas.
She currently has three commercial projects which will eventually move into the public domain for viewing. Currently on display in Eccleshall is her personal interpretation of The Stations of the Cross. The completion of such leads on to her next project, The Stations of the Resurrection, followed by The Ministry of Jesus – a substantial project which will take several years to complete before touring the country.
But Victoria always offers her time to those who are interested or wish to advance their creative skills. The peaceful location of her studio, shared by those who attend, offers the perfect opportunity to relax, develop and be inspired.
